Drummer Sebastian Demydczuk is a musically versatile musician. He toured with – among others – Francien van Tuinen and Carlama Orkestar. He specializes in odd meters and is an often requested recording artist. He manages his own recording studio and is a music producer for pop-, jazz- and world music artists.
Saxophonist Sebastiano Terzuolo has a master degree at the conservatory of Bologna in classical music. He decided to study jazz after hearing Charlie Parker and Dizzy Gillespie. The newly discovered sound of bebop has such a profound impact on him, that from that moment he will solely dedicate himself to the discovery and understanding of jazz music.
Felix Degenaar is a keyboard player and jazz pianist working and teaching at the Prince Claus Conservatoire. He has an extensive experience as a side man, band leader, has organised many jam sessions in the northern regions of The Netherlands and is a recording artist as well as a producer, composer and arranger in many jazz-related styles.
Bass player Hans Lass is someone Felix has played with for over 20 years. Hans plays in many different line-ups in the North: Vincent Grit Trio, The Northern European Jazz Orchestra, Bufu Sanna, Swing Du Nord and the Society Jazz Band are on his CV.
On January the 21 this ensemble will play a selection of American Songbook standars. After the first set the semi-open jam session will commence.
